West Chelsea warehouse redevelopment to convert into boutique office

The project will add 51,400 square feet of office space at 510-514 W. 27th St., with the High Line-facing frontage highlighted in the plan.

Jamison Commercial RE and Cahn Family Associates LLC are redeveloping a six-story warehouse and textile building in Manhattan’s West Chelsea Arts District into a boutique office property, according to ConnectCRE.

The building at 510-514 W. 27th St. has been owned and occupied by the Cahn family’s textile business for more than 40 years, and the family’s business will remain involved with continued occupancy of part of the building for the foreseeable future, the outlet reported.

ConnectCRE also said the redevelopment will encompass 51,400 square feet of space, with the project including more than 100 feet of frontage overlooking the High Line.

Jamison Commercial RE will lead sales and leasing through its brokerage division as part of the co-development effort.
