Aon launches property and casualty risk diagnostic tools
The new diagnostics are meant to help organizations prioritize actions by building an evidence-based view of their property and casualty exposure as market conditions diverge.
Insurance Business reports that Aon plc has launched two consulting-led tools, the property risk diagnostic and the casualty risk diagnostic, aimed at giving organizations an evidence-based view of their property and casualty exposure and where to act first.
The tools are part of Aon's push to extend its advisory role beyond insurance placement, following the broker's AI risk diagnostic released in July that was designed to help organizations assess AI governance maturity and risk exposure.
Insurance Business also cites recent market divergence, noting US commercial property premiums fell 1.2% in the first quarter of 2026, the first decline since 2017, with some real estate insureds seeing double-digit rate reductions, according to Alliant Insurance Services.
