Hong Kong launches month-long Halloween campaign with free transit
The Tourism Board says the inaugural “Hong Kong Halloween Month” will run through Halloween night after street parties on three consecutive Saturdays.
Hong Kong is set to launch an inaugural “Hong Kong Halloween Month,” a month-long campaign aimed at turning the city into a top Halloween destination in Asia, the South China Morning Post reports.
The program will feature street parties across five neighbourhoods, Central, Kai Tak, Lan Kwai Fong, Mong Kok, and Tsim Sha Tsui East, along with free rides on decorated buses and trams.
The Tourism Board’s Halloween celebrations are scheduled for three consecutive Saturdays starting October 17, culminating on Halloween night.
