ADM adds segregated supply chain option for Nature’s Gold flour in the UK

ADM is expanding its Nature’s Gold regeneratively sourced flour offering in the UK by adding a segregated supply chain option, aiming to increase traceability and transparency from farm to mill, according to World Grain.

World Grain reports the new option builds on the launch of Nature’s Gold Baker’s Bread Flour and ADM’s regenerations program in the UK, with ADM working directly with participating growers to manage the journey of regenerative wheat through its supply chain.

The company says the segregated approach is designed to offer customers greater visibility into the provenance of the flour they buy, and to help independent and craft bakers make more sustainable choices amid growing consumer interest in how food is produced and sourced, World Grain reported.

Ashley Fuller, managing director of ADM Milling UK, said the shift from a mass balance to a segregated supply chain is the next step in the program, strengthening the integrity and traceability of its proposition, World Grain added.
