Arizona Gold hits high-grade zones in drilling at Philadelphia project
Drilling from about 446 to 456 metres depth returned broader intervals averaging 1.48 g/t gold and 7.2 g/t silver, plus a 7-metre run grading 4.24 g/t gold.
Mining.com reports Arizona Gold & Silver has found high-grade zones in new drilling at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona, including gold mineralization beneath the Red Hills target.
The outlet said hole PC26-173 intersected 7 metres grading 4.24 grams gold per tonne and 15.2 grams silver from 456 metres depth, along with a broader 44-metre interval averaging 1.48 g/t gold and 7.2 g/t silver from about 446 metres downhole.
Mining.com also noted the broader intersection included 22 metres at 2.52 g/t gold from 447 metres downhole, and 13 metres at 3.51 g/t gold from 456 metres depth.
The report added that the Philadelphia project, about 320 km northwest of Phoenix in the historic Oatman mining district, is Arizona Gold’s main development asset and the company is targeting a low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system along the 3-km-long Arabian Fault corridor.
