Beijing warns against “de-CATLisation” chatter as partners diversify
SCMP reports that Beijing has pushed back against market chatter about “de-CATLisation,” as more automotive partners of battery giant CATL diversify their suppliers.
The outlet says the warning comes even as CATL’s shares have fallen recently.
SCMP attributes the pushback to a publication under China’s industry ministry, citing the growing supplier diversification by CATL’s automotive partners.
