BSE shares dip after Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas trim stake
Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas sold a combined 1.7% stake for ₹2,186.4 crore via separate bulk deals.
BSE Limited shares fell nearly 3% during Wednesday intraday trading, after Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas offloaded shares in the exchange, LiveMint Markets reported.
The stock dropped to an intraday low of ₹3,075 per share on NSE on Wednesday, and was last down 2.75% to ₹3,112 at 1 pm, after an intraday high of ₹3,149.
BNP Paribas and Goldman Sachs sold a combined 1.67% stake in BSE for ₹2,186.44 crore through separate bulk deals, according to NSE data cited by LiveMint Markets.
UTI Mutual Fund and Nippon India Mutual Fund bought shares in the separate large deals, with BNP Paribas selling 4,451,693 shares and Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius Limited selling 2,381,571 shares.
