Hong Kong IPO fundraising hits record high in first 9 months of 2026
Hong Kong logged 112 listings on its main board, raising US$48.4 billion, with 114 total new listings including the Growth Enterprise Market.
Hong Kong’s IPO market surged in the first nine months of 2026, with funds raised doubling from a year earlier and reaching the highest level for the period since records began in 1980, according to data from LSEG Data & Analytics cited by SCMP Economy.
The report said 112 companies raised US$48.4 billion through IPOs on Hong Kong’s main board during that January to September period.
It also noted that two additional companies listed on the Growth Enterprise Market, bringing the combined total to 114 new listings across the two boards.
By deal count, total listings rose 72% year on year, marking Hong Kong’s busiest nine-month period since 2018.
