MSI expands embedded insurance platform to manufactured home communities
The offering, available nationwide, ties insurance coverage options and automated compliance tracking into operators’ leasing workflows.
Coverager reports that MSI, an MGA owned by The Baldwin Group, has extended its embedded insurance platform to manufactured home communities, with the offering available nationwide.
The platform combines coverage options with automated compliance tracking through LeaseTrack, embedding both into operators’ existing leasing processes so residents can meet lease insurance requirements and property managers can monitor coverage.
Coverager says MSI’s model builds on how it distributed renters insurance to more than one million residents through property management technology platforms, and that it plans to expand the offering alongside community operators.
The company also said the US has nearly eight million manufactured homes housing more than 16 million people, and that the new product provides general liability coverage for eligible residential dwellings, including apartments, condominiums, and townhomes.
