Solar Industries jumps after incorporating a Botswana subsidiary

The shares rose as much as 6.2% to ₹19,820 on Wednesday, and the company said the Botswana unit was incorporated on September 29, 2026.

Solar Industries shares rose sharply in intraday trading on Wednesday, September 30, after the company said it incorporated a new subsidiary in the Republic of Botswana, according to LiveMint Markets.

In an exchange filing, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary, Solar Overseas Mauritius Limited, incorporated Solar Explochem Proprietary Limited in Botswana on September 29, 2026.

LiveMint Markets reported that the stock rose as much as 6.2% to a day high of ₹19,820. It also noted the shares opened at ₹19,030 after closing at ₹18,650 on September 29.

The outlet further said Solar Industries is up more than 60% year to date in 2026, while it has gained more than 47% over the past year. It added the stock is still below its 52-week high of ₹22,700 and above its 52-week low of ₹11,646 from December 2025.
