Stone Ridge cat bond fund reaches $5bn AUM milestone
Stone Ridge said its mutual-category AUM across catastrophe bonds, insurance-linked securities and reinsurance funds is around $7.6 billion, up from just over $6.8 billion as of April 30, 2026.
Artemis reports that Stone Ridge High Yield Reinsurance Risk Premium Fund, Stone Ridge Asset Management’s main catastrophe bond focused strategy, reached $5 billion in assets under management.
The outlet said Stone Ridge’s total assets under management across its mutual catastrophe bond, insurance-linked securities and reinsurance funds now sit around $7.6 billion.
Artemis added that in the last quarter of record, Stone Ridge added just over 6% in assets to its three mutual 40 Act investment funds that hold catastrophe bonds, ILS instruments and reinsurance assets.
The investment manager’s mutual cat bond and ILS fund AUM stood at just over $6.8 billion as of an April 30, 2026 reporting date, then rose to around the $7 billion mark by the end of June, which marked a new high point for the strategies.
