UK GDP growth revised to 0.5% in second quarter, ONS says
The ONS also revised household income per head up to 1.1% for January to June.
The UK Office for National Statistics revised gross domestic product growth higher for the second quarter, saying the economy rose 0.5% rather than an earlier estimate of 0.4%.
The ONS said household income per head increased 1.1% between January and June, based on revised official data.
It also reported that the economy grew 0.6% in the first quarter, putting the year’s first-half growth at the same pace as the US in the first six months, according to the report.
