Ethereum co-author withdraws proposal to change staking rewards burn
According to The Block, a proposal tied to Ethereum staking reward burning was pulled from the Hegota upgrade.
The Block reports that co-author Jérôme de Tychey said industry participants and core contributors persuaded him that a scoping process was the wrong venue for making an issuance change.
De Tychey characterized the decision as a response to that feedback, leading to the proposal being withdrawn from the upgrade path.
