The dollar index was near 101.93, after an over-a-year high around 102.20, as investors waited for September Nonfarm Payrolls.
The euro found temporary support against the US dollar after a four-day losing streak that pushed EUR/USD to a fresh yearly low of 1.1215, FXStreet reported.
In Asian trading, EUR/USD was up 0.1% to around 1.1253, driven by a marginal correction in the US dollar.
