Eurozone inflation expected to rise to 3.8% in September
Eurostat said the inflation rate would increase from 3.2% in August 2026, keeping it well above the ECB’s 2% target.
Eurostat has projected eurozone inflation to rise to 3.8% in September, up from 3.2% in August 2026, according to ongoing coverage from the Guardian Economics and business desk.
The reported rate would put inflation well above the European Central Bank’s 2% target, based on the same update.
