Hines appoints Adam Hines as incoming co-CEO
The transition shifts Jeffrey Hines to chairman starting Jan. 1 and makes Adam a board member of Hines Global Income Trust.
Housing and real estate investment firm Hines announced a generational leadership transition, with incoming co-CEO Adam Hines set to join co-CEO Laura Hines-Pierce.
Jeffrey Hines, the current co-CEO, will step aside at the end of the year. According to Bisnow, the change includes effective Jan. 1 duties as Jeffrey Hines rotates into chairman and steps back from day to day management to focus on advising the co-CEOs.
Bisnow also reports that Laura Hines-Pierce will replace Jeffrey Hines as CEO and board chair of Hines Global Income Trust. Adam Hines will join as a board member of the trust.
The company added additional promotions alongside the co-CEO changes, including David Steinbach becoming the firm’s first president and Alfonso Munk taking the role of global chief investment officer, according to Bisnow.
