NEAR Intents identifies alleged hacker and demands return in 48 hours

The protocol said a preliminary investigation found $3.8 million in user funds was stolen, and it pledged to compensate affected users in full.

NEAR Intents said it has identified the hacker behind an attack on its protocol and issued a 48-hour ultimatum, according to Cointelegraph. The companys general manager, Alex Shevchenko, also shared multiple wallet addresses for victims to receive Bitcoin, BNB, and Solana proceeds.

Cointelegraph reports that NEAR Intents said its preliminary investigation determined $3.8 million in user funds was stolen and that it would compensate affected users in full. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT said the stolen funds were moved to the KuCoin exchange and bridged to Bitcoin.
