ADNOC explores AI as conflict disrupts UAE oil exports

OilPrice says the war initially cut UAE exports from about 5.1 million barrels per day to 1.9 million.

OilPrice reports that oil companies have used AI for years to improve drilling speed, predict equipment failures, and increase output from existing fields.

The outlet says the UAE’s state-run producer, ADNOC, is now applying similar technology in a different kind of disruption, after an early phase of conflict cut UAE oil exports by roughly two-thirds.

OilPrice estimates the exports fell from about 5.1 million barrels per day before the conflict to about 1.9 million during that initial period.
