Choice Broking favors TCS and Tech Mahindra after Accenture results
The brokerage also listed Coforge and Mphasis as preferred mid-cap IT picks, citing expectations of subdued growth for Indian IT.
LiveMint Markets reports that Choice Broking highlighted Indian IT stocks as potential trading picks after Accenture’s fourth-quarter results, with investors looking toward the upcoming second-quarter earnings season.
In its note, the brokerage preferred Tata Consultancy Services and Tech Mahindra among Tier 1 IT names, and named Coforge and Mphasis as top investment ideas among mid-cap stocks.
Choice Broking said it expects FY27 to remain a subdued growth year for Indian IT, pointing to AI-led productivity pass-throughs, pricing pressure, and continued softness in discretionary spending.
The outlet also noted that TCS shares were up 0.4% over the past five trading sessions but down 9.9% over one month, 16.0% over six months, and about 35.7% year-to-date, with the stock still reflecting longer-term weakness.
