CRC Specialty launches Insurisk Cyber for technology firms

The Insurisk Cyber program offers up to $50 million in capacity and includes active threat monitoring at no additional cost.

Coverager reports that CRC Specialty has launched Insurisk Cyber through its exclusive Insurisk platform, packaging cyber liability, technology errors and omissions, and miscellaneous professional liability coverage into a single policy form.

The program, led by insurance paper rated A- or better by AM Best, targets technology-driven businesses, including organizations with complex technology E&O exposures, and provides active threat monitoring at no additional cost.

CRC said policyholders also receive discounted access to cyber risk management resources, including secure software development monitoring, ransomware and data theft monitoring, employee security awareness training, and compliance tools.

Coverager adds that the facility offers up to $50 million in capacity for risks with up to $50 million in total insured value, with minimum premiums starting at $25,000. The launch expands CRC Specialty’s underwriting offerings, and the company did not name participating insurers or disclose coverage limits.
