Latin America set to expand onshore wind capacity through 2035
OilPrice reports that multiple countries across Latin America are expanding onshore wind capacity as a way to diversify their energy mix and improve energy security.
The outlet says Brazil and Mexico are leading the buildout, while several other countries in the region are also developing their green energy sectors.
OilPrice also notes that the pace of planned expansion is expected to be especially strong over the next decade, as installed wind capacity rises across the region.
