Eaton Vance ILS holdings rise to about $777 million

The mutual fund ILS positions valued at just over $300 million on Oct. 31, 2025 grew by 126% to nearly $680 million by April 30, 2026.

Eaton Vance, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, has increased its investments in insurance-linked securities, fund structures, and reinsurance sidecars across three mutual fund strategies, with the positions reaching about $777 million in value over the last quarter of record, according to Artemis.

The outlet said the growth followed higher allocations to Eaton Vance’s investment in the Swiss Re Core Nat Cat Fund and the addition of a new allocation to the Jaffa Capital Fund.

Artemis previously reported that the ILS holdings were valued at just over $300 million as of Oct. 31, 2025, and that by April 30, 2026 the holdings had grown by 126% to nearly $680 million.

The report also noted new allocations during the period to structures linked to Arch Capital, PartnerRe, and QBE, plus an allocation to an entity identified as Beacon RE.
