Euna hires Steve Morse to lead Personal Lines
Morse, who has nearly 40 years of insurance experience, joins from Aviva Private Clients where he served as Underwriting Director.
Euna, a specialist managing general agent (MGA), has appointed Steve Morse as Head of Personal Lines, with Morse reporting directly to Ross Dingwall, Euna’s CEO. The company said Morse will join Euna’s personal lines team, which was launched in July alongside Specialist Home.
Euna’s Specialist Home product targets non-standard residential and contract works risks that fall outside standard market appetite, including non-standard construction, listed buildings, unoccupied homes and high-profile clients. Euna said Morse has nearly 40 years of industry experience and expertise leading underwriting and sales teams.
Morse joins from Aviva Private Clients, where he worked for five years as Underwriting Director. Before Aviva, he held a similar underwriting role at AXA XL, and earlier in his career he spent more than 15 years at Hiscox, becoming a Partner in 2017.
Dingwall said Morse’s experience in the private client market, leadership background and broker relationships across the UK make him the right person to lead Euna’s new personal lines offering, as the company expands the unit.
