Gravity Fitness signs 23,000-square-foot lease at Flushing Plaza

The club plans to open the gym in mid-2027, occupying the ground floor of the two-story office and retail complex.

Gravity Fitness has signed a long-term 23,000-square-foot lease at Muss Development’s Flushing Plaza at 41-61 Kissena Boulevard in Downtown Flushing, according to the landlord, Commercial Observer reports.

The gym will take space on the ground floor of a two-story office and retail complex, and the asking rent for the building was $52 per square foot.

Muss Development President Jason Muss said in a statement that Flushing remains a thriving mix of commercial and retail options, and the Gravity Fitness lease reflects residents’ interest in physical activity.

The article says Muss Development did not disclose the lease length, and Gravity Fitness plans to open the gym in mid-2027.
