Savvy Insurance Solutions adds support for AI agents shopping for car insurance
The marketplace first delivers anonymous rate estimates tied to recently sold policies for similar profiles before requesting contact details for personalized quotes.
Engine by Gen updated its insurance marketplace, Savvy Insurance Solutions, to support AI agents shopping on consumers’ behalf, including assistants such as Muse and Instinct.
Savvy’s flow consolidates most questions onto a single page to reduce back-and-forth between an agent and its user. Shoppers can receive anonymous rate estimates based on recently sold policies bought by customers with similar profiles.
If the estimates warrant proceeding, Savvy then requests contact information to obtain personalized quotes, with the company saying only Savvy is permitted to use that information to limit outreach from multiple insurers.
Engine says the process is designed to reduce unnecessary, costly data pulls for carriers, and the launch comes as insurance marketplaces weigh how to handle automated shopping and some have restricted or blocked AI agents.
