SI Reinsurance appoints Beatrix Dodgson as Chief Underwriting Officer

Dodgson will report to SI Re CEO Dr. Arnold Löw and move into the role on 1 November 2026.

SIGNAL IDUNA Reinsurance Ltd, the Swiss reinsurer based in Zug, appointed Beatrix Dodgson as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), effective 1 November 2026.

Dodgson will join SI Re from Korean Re Switzerland AG, where she has served as CUO and a member of the executive team since September 2024.

Before that, she spent more than two decades at Swiss Re, most recently as Desk Head for Casualty Treaty Underwriting, EMEA Globals and UK, and Portfolio Owner of the EMEA Liability Treaty book.

SI Re CEO Dr. Arnold Löw said he is welcoming Dodgson, noting her more than three decades of experience across the reinsurance and insurance value chain, and that she will report to him.
