US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $2.39bn inflows in the week to Sept 25

Inflows to BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT, fell each day through the week, and Bitcoin ended down 2.3% after rebounding from about $75,000 to $87,000.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $2.39 billion in the week to Sept 25, led by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT, as Bitcoin rebounded from near $75,000 to about $87,000, according to Forexlive.

Forexlive reports that daily inflows shrank every session and that Bitcoin finished the week 2.3% lower, suggesting the rebound momentum faded.

A widely shared post over the weekend claimed BlackRock bought around $1.6 billion of Bitcoin “this month” using Arkham on-chain data, but the outlet says the figure actually covers the past month, mostly September, and reflects investor buying in IBIT rather than BlackRock buying for its own account.

Forexlive adds that Arkham data tracks custody wallets holding the Bitcoin backing IBIT, so it is a measure of client demand through the fund rather than proof of who the buyers were or how long they held the exposure.
