Walt Disney buys former Yamaha campus for $115M in Cypress
The 25-acre, infill industrial-zoned property includes three buildings totaling about 279,000 square feet.
Walt Disney Co. paid $115 million to purchase the former headquarters property of Yamaha Motor Corp. in Cypress, according to Bisnow, citing The Orange County Register. The campus covers roughly 25 acres and was previously marketed as a redevelopment opportunity.
The property is infill industrial-zoned and includes three buildings, one industrial, one flex and one office, totaling about 279,000 square feet. It spans an entire city block, with access points from Katella Avenue, Holder Street and Yamaha Way.
Bisnow said Disney has not shared plans for the property. The campus went to market in the spring, and Yamaha plans to relocate its U.S. group to Kennesaw, Georgia by the end of 2028.
