AirAsia pilot profile highlights career climb from flight attendant

Suriati Sukardi, 36, is now a pilot for AirAsia, flying the airline’s A320 and A321 Airbus aircraft.

According to the SCMP Economy, she previously worked as a flight attendant at AirAsia and served the company for eight years starting in 2017.

In 2019, she was offered the chance to take up aviation lessons and completed her pilot course in 2022, the outlet reports.
