Aviva appoints Phil Rosace to lead its US cyber unit at Aviva Specialty

Rosace joins Aviva from Coalition, where he oversaw operations for Coalition Re, including underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.

Aviva has appointed Phil Rosace to lead Aviva Specialty’s US cyber business segment, expanding leadership for the insurer’s cyber underwriting operations.

According to Reinsurance News, Rosace brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, including extensive cyber underwriting expertise.

He is joining Aviva from Coalition, where he served as General Manager responsible for Coalition Re’s operations, spanning capacity building, licensing, business development, underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.

Rosace previously launched Coalition Re’s cyber reinsurance business and held earlier cyber underwriting roles at Vantage Risk Companies, Zurich North America, and AIG.
