Brent crude falls below $100 a barrel after Saudi oil price cut
Saudi Arabia’s oil price cut pushed Brent below $100 a barrel as European stock markets rose and government bond yields retreated, with the euro also moving higher against the dollar.
Brent crude fell below $100 a barrel on Monday after Saudi Arabia cut its oil prices, according to The Guardian Business.
The broader market tone was mixed but supportive, with European stock markets rising while government bond yields retreated.
In FX markets, the euro reversed earlier losses and was trading higher against the dollar as French government bonds rallied and their yields moved lower, helping the single currency sink to below $1.12 earlier in the session.
