Newline Europe appoints Nikola Milutinović for northern Germany underwriting
The new role starts 1 October 2026 and Milutinović will focus on underwriting life science risks and building new broker and estate agent partnerships.
Newline Europe, a Cologne-based insurance company authorized by Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, appointed Nikola Milutinović as its Regional Underwriting Manager for Northern Germany, effective 1 October 2026.
The insurer said the role was newly created to strengthen its presence in the region and support further growth. Milutinović is based in Hamburg and brings underwriting experience in the life sciences sector.
According to Reinsurance News, he previously served as a Senior Life Science Underwriter at Chubb in Hamburg, specializing in complex risks and multinational liability programs for clinical trials and biotechnology companies.
Newline Europe said Milutinović will work closely with estate agents and clients, develop new partnerships, and ensure prompt service supported by knowledge of the regional market, reporting to Markus Schäfer, Head of Underwriting.
