Oil prices gain as natural gas rises amid mixed crude moves
Natural gas was up 1.3% while Brent fell 0.4%, highlighting a mixed energy tape.
Oil prices were mixed in early trading, with West Texas Intermediate crude up 0.1% to $89.52 and Brent down 0.4% to $99.96, according to OilPrice.
The market also showed gains in natural gas, which rose 1.3% to $3.107, while heating oil fell 0.8% to $4.510.
Other tracked benchmarks were similarly divergent, with Murban crude down 3.9% to $104.8 and WTI Midland up 0.3% to $90.37.
