Coface appoints Zach Spencer as APAC head of risk underwriting
The role begins 1 October 2026 and Spencer will relocate to Singapore to oversee risk underwriting teams across Asia Pacific.
Coface, a global trade credit risk management provider, has appointed Zach Spencer as its new Head of Risk Underwriting for the Asia Pacific region.
The company said the appointment will take effect on 1 October 2026, and Spencer will move to Singapore to oversee Coface’s Risk Underwriting teams across Asia Pacific.
Coface said Spencer will report to Raphael Rousselot, its Chief Underwriting Officer for Asia Pacific, and also have a dotted line reporting relationship to Anca Dan, its Group Head of Risk Underwriting.
In the role, he will oversee the implementation of underwriting policies and focus on developing regional team capabilities, with responsibilities including risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, and operational performance, working with commercial, claims, and debt collection functions.
