Manus raises $500 million in first round after Meta breakup
AI agent developer Manus has raised $500 million in its first funding round since Meta was forced to unwind its deal tied to the company, CNBC reports.
The funding arrives after Beijing required Meta to unwind what was described as a roughly $2 billion acquisition, leaving Manus with new capital following the breakup.
CNBC says the new round provides fresh backing for Manus after the earlier Meta transaction was terminated under regulatory pressure.
