Morgan & Morgan signs 70,602-square-foot lease at One Seaport Plaza
The personal injury law firm is moving from a third quarter 2023 sublease into a long-term direct lease at 199 Water Street.
Morgan & Morgan has signed a 70,602-square-foot lease at 199 Water Street, also known as One Seaport Plaza, according to third-quarter Manhattan office reporting from Colliers and CBRE, as described by Commercial Observer.
The firm will shift from the prior sublease setup into a long-term direct lease as part of the new agreement, the outlet reports.
Morgan & Morgan moved into the building as a subtenant during the third quarter of 2023, after relocating from Midtown, and originally took 34,792 square feet, Commercial Observer notes.
Cushman & Wakefield brokered the deal for both the tenant and the landlord, while the outlet says the asking rent and lease length were unclear and that neither C&W nor Morgan & Morgan responded to requests for comment.
