Neshaminy Mall redevelopment targets apartments, hotel, and new retail

The 1.1M SF Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, Pennsylvania is set to convert part of the closing mall into a mixed use complex after developers bought the 108-acre site for $27.5M in 2024.

Bisnow reports that the 1.1 million-square-foot Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, Pennsylvania is planned to be redeveloped as a mixed use complex centered on an open air Main Street.

According to plans cited by the outlet, the project would add 250 apartments and a four story hotel, along with 544,000 square feet of new retail to complement 238,000 square feet of existing retail to be retained.

Bisnow also notes that AMC, Boscov's, and Barnes & Noble are not planning to leave the property, and that the developers, Paramount Realty and Edgewood Properties, bought the 108 acre parcel from Brookfield Properties for $27.5M in 2024.

The outlet further details other Bucks County area transactions, including Vitrian's $70M purchase of four Malvern properties and a partnership between Westport Capital Partners and Ajax Partners to buy a 325,000 square foot flex industrial facility in Fort Washington.
