Sapiens rolls out Sapiens Brain to power its SapiensAIP platform
Sapiens says its AI foundation is designed to help insurers embed AI into core policy administration systems, drawing on decades of insurance knowledge accumulated over 40 years.
Sapiens International Corporation N.V. announced the launch of Sapiens Brain, a proprietary AI foundation intended to power SapiensAIP, its AI platform for the insurance industry, according to Reinsurance News.
The company said Sapiens Brain is built as an interconnected memory system modeled on how the human brain links what it knows, combining general-purpose AI models trained from the open internet with first-hand insurance knowledge.
SapiensAIP was launched in September 2026 as an AI-native, SaaS offering designed to help insurers integrate AI directly into their core policy administration systems, or PAS.
Sapiens CEO Paul Wheeler said the industry faces pressure to modernize and that AI is the key to unlocking that change, with Sapiens positioning the combination of SapiensAIP and Sapiens Brain as going further than competitors.
