Tanker traffic through Strait of Hormuz falls to two-month low
Crude crossing the strait fell 27% from a wartime high the prior week to at least 10.1 million barrels a day, according to Kpler.
OilPrice reports that the number of tankers traversing the Strait of Hormuz has fallen to the lowest level in two months, as renewed attacks on vessels continue in the waterway.
Tanker-tracking outlets cited in the report say oil flows out of Hormuz have returned to pre-war levels, following the recent surge in activity.
OilPrice notes that Kpler counted the crude crossing by finding it dropped 27% from a wartime high from the week before, to at least 10.1 million barrels a day, as attacks disrupted traffic.
