Torrance parcel set for 2026 CREDA SoCal real estate challenge

The 29th annual UCLA vs. USC competition will be held Nov. 19 at the UCLA campus, with the two schools tied at 14 wins each.

ConnectCRE reports the 29th annual CREDA SoCal UCLA vs. USC Real Estate Challenge will take place Nov. 19 on the UCLA campus.

The competition features graduate teams from UCLA’s Ziman Center of Real Estate and USC’s Lusk Center, along with Price School of Public Policy, competing to determine the highest and best use for a parcel of land in Southern California.

For 2026, organizers say the selected site is an approximately 30-acre parcel in the City of Torrance used as the city’s Civic Center, which includes City Hall, a municipal pool, and a cultural arts center.

ConnectCRE also notes the rivalry is currently tied at 14 wins apiece between the two universities.
