U.S. cyber insurers face mounting losses as pricing lags premium growth

AM Best said the U.S. cyber insurance market is dealing with mounting losses and structural shifts, as price declines are outpacing premium growth, according to Risk & Insurance.
The report also cites a National Safety Council survey showing workers broadly view musculoskeletal disorder prevention technologies as positive for their safety and wellbeing, particularly when they are involved in implementation decisions.
Separately, Risk & Insurance highlighted Utah’s prescription renewal pilot as a use case for AI in healthcare, while warning that misunderstandings about AI could put organizations and patients at risk.
The same post said MRI volumes in the United States have surged past pre-COVID levels and are on pace for about 40 million scans annually, citing a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) figure.
