Zillion partners with Tokio Marine Highland for embedded jewelry insurance

Zillion has partnered with Tokio Marine Highland to offer embedded insurance for luxury jewelry and watches through a network that includes retailers, brands, appraisers, and collector applications, according to Coverager.

The invite-only coverage is made available at the point of sale and also through appraisal services and collector apps. Zillion said the program includes concierge service and claims support.

Zillion also said it has protected billions of dollars worth of luxury items through its partner network, and it plans to make Tokio Marine Highland the preferred digital personal jewelry insurer for in-store and e-commerce purchases.

Tokio Marine Highland is described by Coverager as a specialty managing general agency, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokio Marine Kiln, with offerings that include fine art, specialty property, and lender-placed insurance.
