KatRisk names David Vicary International Product Lead

Vicary joins KatRisk from Renew Risk, where he led technical product work and headed Solar, after nearly a decade at Brit Insurance focused on catastrophe risk and emerging technologies.

KatRisk, a provider of catastrophic risk modelling software for the insurance and financial services industries, announced it has appointed David Vicary as International Product Lead.

In the role, Vicary will help drive KatRisk’s technology solutions arm and support the continued development of its product suite and partnerships, according to the company’s announcement.

Reinsurance News says Vicary brings experience across the Lloyd’s market, including catastrophe modelling, research and development, exposure management, and emerging technologies, with a focus on the severe convective storm peril.

He joins KatRisk from Renew Risk, where he served as Technical Product Lead II and Head of Solar, after earlier roles at Brit Insurance, Talbot Underwriting, and Sagicor Life Insurance Company USA.
