Tressie Norton joins Liberty Specialty Markets as supercoverholders manager

Norton will be London based and reports to Stephen Tompson, overseeing strategic partnerships and support for Liberty Specialty Markets financial lines and transactional risk capabilities.

Liberty Specialty Markets, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, appointed Tressie Norton as Supercoverholders Underwriting Manager in London, according to Reinsurance News.

Norton will report to Stephen Tompson, Head of Supercoverholders, Delegated Authority Practice, with responsibilities that include overseeing strategic partnerships and supporting the continued development of financial lines and transactional risk capabilities.

The appointment brings more than two decades of global insurance experience, along with a legal background and claims and litigation expertise, the outlet said.

Reinsurance News also noted that Norton previously spent over 17 years at Chubb and recently returned to London from Singapore.
