ARK Invest says Bitcoin remains early in its five-year journey

Bitcoin has been flat to down this year, but ARK Invest says its longer-term view is unchanged even as stablecoins reshape its thesis.

Bitcoin has been flat to down during the current year, but ARK Invest is not changing its view on the asset, according to Bitcoin Magazine.

In a discussion led by Lorenzo Valente, Director of Research for Digital Assets at ARK Invest, the firm argues that its Bitcoin thesis still plays out on a five-year horizon, describing the current stage of the market as very early in the journey.

The segment also reviews ARK’s Big Ideas report, including Bitcoin’s framing as “digital gold” and as permissionless money, and it highlights factors Valente says keep institutional investors on the sidelines.
