ICW Re picks Ultrassure AI workspace for underwriting and claims workflows
The reinsurance unit of ICW Group Insurance Companies plans to extend the platform beyond a pilot to support tasks across underwriting, operations, accounting and claims.
Ultrassure announced that ICW Re, the assumed reinsurance business of ICW Group Insurance Companies, has selected the AI workspace to support certain underwriting, operations and claims-related workflows after a successful pilot.
Ultrassure’s platform combines document management, structured insurance data and AI workflows in one environment, aiming to help teams review and analyze documentation, compare information and link findings back to source materials for verification.
ICW Re described the pilot as a way to explore new methods for organizing and analyzing its existing workflows, adding that it values the partnership and plans to continue building on the work.
Ultrassure said its workspace is SOC 2 Type II certified and is used by insurance and reinsurance teams serving insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, brokers and insurance-linked securities managers.
