OdysseyRe appoints Chris Moore as VP, Senior Property Underwriter

Moore returns to OdysseyRe after two years as Senior Director of Reinsurance at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.

Odyssey Reinsurance Company, the property and casualty reinsurance arm of Odyssey Group Holdings and a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings, has appointed Chris Moore as Vice President and Senior Property Underwriter.

Reinsurance News reports that Moore is returning to OdysseyRe after serving for the past two years as a Senior Director of Reinsurance for The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.

The appointment follows Moore’s prior tenure at OdysseyRe, where he joined the company in 2008 as a Senior Underwriting Associate, later held a VP role in 2020 for four years, and now resumes leadership on the property underwriter team.

OdysseyRe said Moore previously worked in the property underwriter team across roles with increasing responsibility from 2008 to 2024, highlighting his property underwriting expertise and experience.
