Isara Laboratories leases 6,009 sq ft at 515 West 20th Street

The AI startup took the space on a two-year lease, moving from a temporary office at 43 West 29th Street.

Isara Laboratories, an artificial intelligence startup platform, has leased 6,009 square feet at the boutique office building at 515 West 20th Street in West Chelsea, Commercial Observer reported. The company builds software intended to help AI agents communicate and solve problems for the finance and biotech industries.

Commercial Observer said Isara signed the lease June 20 and is in the process of moving into the new space. A broker for the transaction, Current Real Estate Advisors, did not disclose the asking rent, but said office rents at the building are in the high $30s per square foot.

The landlord is Eagle Point Properties, which bought the Chelsea property from A&R Kalimian Realty for $23.3 million in 2022, according to property records cited by Commercial Observer. The seven-story mixed-use building along the High Line is home to members-only club Soho House.

The article added that Isara previously operated a temporary office shop at 43 West 29th Street, still listed on its website. The company’s “home base” for engineering is in London, with commercial and customer teams in New York and an engineering and research hub in Romania, and other tenants in the building include the Fred Astaire Dance Studio.
