Alexandria builds 427,000-square-foot R&D hub for Bristol Myers in San Diego

Campus Point at Alexandria Megacampus in San Diego is 95.4% occupied as of March 31, 2026, with 0.9 million square feet under construction.

Alexandria Real Estate Equities delivered a 427,000-square-foot research and development hub for Bristol Myers Squibb at the Campus Point by Alexandria Megacampus in San Diego, according to ConnectCRE.

The project adds to Alexandria and BMSs long-running relationship, which the outlet says dates back to 1998 across the REITs life science and advanced technology clusters.

ConnectCRE said the Campus Point development is 95.4% occupied as of March 31, 2026 and totals 2.9 million square feet, including 1.3 million square feet in operation, 0.9 million square feet under construction, and 0.7 million square feet available for future development and redevelopment.

In comments shared by the outlet, Alexandria described the hub as designed to help tenants accelerate innovation within the same megacampus ecosystem, supporting expansion and talent recruitment while providing mission-critical infrastructure.
