Bitcoin ETFs log fifth straight day of inflows after April lull
The latest run brought about $727 million of net buying over five days, with spot bitcoin ETFs taking in roughly $227 million on July 20.
CoinDesk reports that U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs returned to net inflows for a fifth consecutive day, the first such stretch since late April. The inflows totaled about $727 million over the five-day run, the most sustained buying period since record June outflows.
According to CoinDesk, on July 20 spot bitcoin ETFs pulled in about $227 million, while ether ETFs added roughly $38 million. BlackRock’s ether ETF, ETHA, led the ether side with about $34 million.
CoinDesk also said total bitcoin ETF assets have risen to around $79 billion from a July low near $75 billion. It noted bitcoin has held its range near $63,000 as a recent chip-driven selloff paused.
The outlet added that the next market test may come as the Fed meets July 28 and 29 and Big Tech earnings arrive this week, with Alphabet, Tesla, and Intel scheduled to report.
